Koh Mook Hostel

Koh Mook Hostel offers bunk beds in mixed and female dormitories, single beds and double beds, in rooms that measure from 9 m² to 36 m². Air conditioning is standard in every room, and high-quality linens are provided in every room.

Some rooms have a private bathroom, while others share a bathroom with a shower and toiletries. Blackout curtains are fitted in some of the dormitory rooms, and reading lights, adapters and fans are part of the room equipment, with a socket near the bed in several rooms. Some of the dormitory beds are bunk beds, and the rooms are all air-conditioned, with high-quality linens in every room.

Koh Mook Hostel offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms and in the public areas, along with free parking nearby and a shuttle service. Daily housekeeping and a laundry service are provided, guests can use lockers, and private check-in and check-out are offered.

The hostel also has a coffee shop and offers alternative meal arrangements, and air conditioning covers the public areas as well as the rooms. Tours and ticket services can be arranged, and a salon is available on site.

Koh Mook is a small island in the Andaman Sea, part of the Trang archipelago off Trang province. Its beaches, clear water and fishing villages give the island its character, and the hostel is in Ban Koh Mook, the village on the island where the boats come in. Lush greenery covers much of the island, and the waters around it are clear.

Ko Muk Beach is the nearest beach, about 250 m away, and Pawapi Beach is 350 m away. Further along the coast are Ao Phang Ka Beach and Sabai Beach, and snorkelling spots lie close to the island. Ao Phang Ka and Sabai give more stretches of sand farther along the coast, and Ko Muk ferry terminal marks the island's link with the mainland. Emerald Cave, a sea cave with a lagoon inside, is 2.7 km away and is one of the best-known sights nearby.

A good day starts on Ko Muk Beach and continues with a boat trip to the snorkelling spots around the island. Tours are offered at the hostel, and the nearby islands are reached by boat, so a day trip to them fits easily between beach time and the evening back at the village.
