Trang Railway Station is 400 m from the hostel, and the Trang Clock Tower, a town landmark, is 850 m away. The Nightmarket, 450 m away, is a lively place for street food in the evening, and Pao Kong Shrine is also nearby. For longer journeys, the Trang Bus Station is 3.1 km away, and Trang Airport is 4.5 km away.

A good day starts with the Trang Clock Tower and a walk through the shophouses of the old town, then moves to the Nightmarket after dark, where the street food makes a good end to the day. Boats to the islands off the coast leave from piers outside the town, so plan the island trip separately.
