The area keeps its local rhythm, with the night market and food stalls coming to life in the evening.

Within a short walk you will find Trang Railway Station, the Nightmarket and the Trang Clock Tower, one of the town's best-known landmarks. The night market is 200 m from the hostel and the clock tower is 600 m away, so both are simple to reach on foot. Trang Airport (TST) lies 4.8 km away, while Krabi International Airport is 91.7 km away.

A good first day is a walk from the hostel to the clock tower and back, followed by an evening at the night market, where food stalls sell local dishes. Trang also makes a practical starting point for trips to the southern Andaman coast, so the town works well as a stop before moving on. Evenings are the best time to explore the centre on foot, when the streets are busy and the stalls are open, and the walk back to the hostel is short.
