Zhongdee Hostel

The rooms at Zhongdee Hostel measure from 8 to 40 m² and range from dormitories to a small twin room and a budget room. Both 40 m² dormitories have air conditioning and a seating area, one for mixed guests and one reserved for women. The twin room and the budget room are fitted with fans and mosquito nets.

Each dormitory has a single bed and a bunk bed for one guest. The twin room has two single beds for up to two guests, and the budget room has two single beds for one guest. The dormitories and the twin room have a shared bathroom.

Zhongdee Hostel is on Pun Road in Silom, the business district of central Bangkok, where office towers and busy side streets stand close to temples and food stalls. It puts you in the middle of the city, with the Saint Louis BTS station 350 m away, and the street life of the nearby streets is part of daily life here, with Thaniya Plaza shopping centre close by and busy shopping streets through the day.

Several temples are close by. Sri Mariamman Temple, a Hindu temple, is 200 m away, and the Bangkokian Museum is about 900 m away. Further afield, The Grand Palace is 4.7 km away and Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya riverbank, is 4.5 km away, so the old city and its major temples are the main sights for a first visit.

For a full day out, Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of the largest markets in the city, selling clothing, crafts, plants and street food. Closer to the hostel, the Jim Thompson House is a museum of teak houses built by the American silk entrepreneur who gave it his name, and the Asiatique The Riverfront complex sits on the Chao Phraya, a good place for an evening by the water.
