Zee Thai Hostel

Every room at Zee Thai Hostel measures 16 m², and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Rooms range from dormitories with bunk beds to rooms with a queen bed or a double bed, and the double rooms sleep two guests.

Rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a desk, a hair dryer and a mirror, and some have a city view. Several rooms also have linens and a socket near the bed, and the room with a queen bed has a coffee and tea maker. Some rooms share a bathroom with other guests, while the double rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries.

Zee Thai Hostel stands on Wisutkasat Road in the Pranakorn district, part of the Banglamphu neighbourhood on the old side of Bangkok. The streets around it mix small temples, guesthouses and shophouses, and the area has a busy, everyday character, with food stalls and small shops on the main roads.

Khaosan Road, 850 m away, is the backpacker street of Banglamphu, with guesthouses, bars and street-food stalls. Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is 1.8 km away, and the Grand Palace, next to it, is 2 km away. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn on the Chao Phraya riverbank, is 2.7 km away. Several temples are close by, including Wat Mai Amatarot and Wat Makut Kasattriyaram Ratchaworawihan, and the Bangkok Metropolitan Museum is also close by. The Sam Yot MRT station is close by too, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a sprawling market, is 6.3 km away.

A full day could start with the temples of the old city, continue to Wat Arun on the river and end on Khaosan Road in the evening. On weekends, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is worth the longer trip. Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall, is further away, in the Siam area.
