Air conditioning is in every room at Yowgo Guesthouse. The rooms run from a 12 m² room sleeping up to six guests to a 32 m² room with a queen bed and a sofa bed for up to three.

Some rooms are 12 or 15 m² and include a microwave, a dining table and blackout curtains, while others add a desk, a sofa or a shower. Coffee and tea makers and hair dryers are also in the rooms.

Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms and also reaches the public areas, so guests can plan the next day or catch up on work from anywhere in the building. The shared lounge and TV area is the place to watch something in the evening or to talk with other travellers after a day out.

Yowgo Guesthouse sits on Soi Sukhumvit 81 in the Suan Luang district of Bangkok, a neighbourhood of local markets, pagodas and small shops rather than the tourist streets of the centre. The surrounding streets are lined with street-food stalls and small shops, giving the area a strong everyday character. The Sukhumvit corridor carries steady traffic and commuters, and the elevated BTS line runs above the road, so trains pass close to the street.

On Nut BTS station, 750 m away, is the nearest rail link, and Bang Chak BTS station is also in the area. The On Nut Fresh Market and the Wat Tai pagoda are close by, and Phra Khanong Market lies in the Phra Khanong district. For the historic sights, a taxi is the simplest way to reach The Grand Palace, 13.5 km away, and Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya riverbank.

A day out could start at the On Nut Fresh Market and Wat Tai, then continue by taxi or BTS towards the centre of the city. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 12.1 km away, is the big stop for weekend shopping, and Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside night market and shopping complex, is worth a visit after dark.
