Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, linens, a mosquito net, a hair dryer and a mirror, and free bottled water is provided. The bathroom is shared, and the Triple Balcony room has a balcony or terrace with a street view, a king bed and a futon.

Outside the rooms, guests can use the garden and the shared lounge/TV area. Guests can eat at the coffee shop or the restaurants, or cook in the shared kitchen, and the breakfast is Asian-style.

Sud Soi Guesthouse is on a soi off Vibhavadi Road, in the Ratchada area of northern Bangkok. It is a residential and commercial part of the city, away from the riverside temples, and the Metro offers a practical link to the centre of Bangkok, with the rest of the city reached by taxi.

Ratchadaphisek MRT Station, named after Ratchadaphisek Road, is 550 m away, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, the large market that is open on weekends, is 2.3 km away. Petchprasit Muay Thai Gym and Ratchada Market are a few hundred metres from the guesthouse. Vibhaphirom Park is also nearby, and the Children's Discovery Museum is in the area, a museum aimed at young visitors. Don Mueang International Airport is 13 km away, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is further out, at 23 km, so the airport you choose depends on your flight.

For a day out, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, about 10 km away, are the classic temple sights, while Jim Thompson House, a complex of traditional teak houses, is a stop for anyone interested in museums. Asiatique - The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex, and Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall, are other shopping stops across the city.
