Koh Lanta is a long island with many beaches, and this part of the coast suits anyone who wants to combine a day on the sand with a trip to the island's national park.

Long Beach is another stretch of sand on the island, and Khao Mai Kaew Cave lies about 12.8 km away. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 20.4 km away, is one of the main places to visit on the island and makes a full day out, and Lanta Old Town is also worth a stop.

A good day can start with a swim at Klong Dao, the closest beach to the villa, and continue to Khao Mai Kaew Cave in the afternoon. Koh Lanta is reached by boat from the mainland: the nearest airport, Krabi International, is 51.1 km away, and the ferry terminal at Sala Dan Pier is 1.3 km from the villa, so plan the boat connection as part of the trip.
