It is a neighbourhood of offices, hospitals and shopping centres, where getting around the city by metro is the simplest option. Shopping is close at hand, with The Shoppes Grand Rama 9 and Robinson Sukhumvit within a few hundred metres.
The Phra Ram 9 MRT Station is 400 m away, and the Airport Rail Link Makkasan Station is close by as well, so the metro is the simplest way to reach the rest of the city. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre with restaurants and cinemas, is 3.5 km away, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest weekend markets in the city, is 5.3 km away. Yu Charoen Market is a short walk from the hostel, for everyday food and shopping.
