A good day could start with the malls and markets of Pratunam, then continue from Phaya Thai to the old city, where the Grand Palace and Wat Arun are the big draws. Chatuchak Weekend Market is further out, 5.3 km from the guesthouse, and is a long day trip for weekend shoppers, and the Phaya Thai station makes the journey there easier by rail.
