Warm White Hostel

Warm White Hostel has dormitory rooms with four, six, eight or twelve bunk beds, and double rooms with one double or queen bed, measuring from 10 to 40 m². Several rooms have a city view, and air conditioning is fitted in most of them, with a fan in some. One room has a queen bed, while the others have double or bunk beds.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and several rooms have a hair dryer, a mirror or satellite and cable channels. Some rooms have a shared bathroom, and guests in those rooms use it with others. The dormitory rooms are for one guest each, so the bunks suit solo travellers.

A 24-hour front desk is open at the property, and there is a bar, room service and a shared kitchen. A massage service is offered on site, and the shared lounge has a TV area for guests.

Travel services include an airport transfer, tours, taxi service and bicycle rental, and there are ticket services and a concierge. Luggage storage, lockers, safety deposit boxes and laundry service are also available, along with daily housekeeping and dry cleaning.

On-site parking is available, and the hostel has a lift, a smoking area and facilities for disabled guests. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and WiFi is also offered in the public areas. The languages spoken include English, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Spanish and Thai.

Warm White Hostel stands in Phra Nakhon, the old district of Bangkok, in the Khaosan area that has long been a meeting point for backpackers. The streets around it fill up in the evening with bars, street-food stalls and small shops, while the Chao Phraya river runs a short distance away. Travellers from many countries mix in the same streets, which are lined with guesthouses, restaurants and small hotels.

Khaosan Road is 300 m from the hostel. The Grand Palace, with Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, inside its walls, is 1.5 km away, and Wat Arun, the riverside temple with its tall central spire, is 2.2 km away. Sam Yot MRT station is 1.7 km away for trips across the city, and Suvarnabhumi Airport, the main international airport, is 28.4 km away. Don Mueang Airport, the city's other airport, serves Bangkok as well.

A good day can begin at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, then continue by boat from a nearby pier across the river to Wat Arun, and finish on Khaosan Road in the evening. From the river, Wat Arun is best seen with its spire rising above the bank. Further afield, the Chatuchak Weekend Market and Siam Paragon are across the city, best reached by taxi or metro.
