Villa Miario

Villa Miario is let as a whole house, and the accommodation is a one-bedroom villa of 70 m² with a sea view. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toiletries, towels and a hair dryer, and the villa has satellite and cable channels to watch.

The villa sleeps up to two guests, and its beds can be arranged in a choice of set-ups. An electric kettle and cleaning products are provided as well.

Villa Miario sits in Nathon, the main town and ferry harbour of Koh Samui, rather than on one of the long beach strips of Chaweng or Lamai. It is a working town with markets, shops and piers, and it is a practical choice for guests who want the ferry piers and the island's shops close at hand. The ferry piers at Nathon connect the island with the mainland.

Within a few kilometres are Octopus Beach, the Coconut Museum and the Nathon Night Food Market, where street food stalls set up in the evening. Further away, Maenam Beach is 8.1 km and the Na Muang Waterfall is 11.7 km, while the large Big Buddha statue, on a hill above Bophut, is 14.5 km. A car or scooter is the easiest way to reach the sights further afield.

A day could begin at the Na Muang Waterfall in the hills, continue to the Big Buddha and finish at Fisherman's Village in Bophut, with its lanes of shops. Back in Nathon, the Night Food Market is a good place to end the evening, and the Coconut Museum can be combined with a stop at the market earlier in the day for visitors interested in the island's produce and history.
