Villa Matahari

Villa Matahari is offered as a single private villa of 520 m², with a full kitchen, air conditioning and a private entrance. It sleeps up to six guests, with a choice of bed set-ups.

Inside the villa there is a full kitchen, a coffee or tea maker, a hair dryer, toiletries, linens and a desk. Air conditioning and a private entrance are part of the villa itself, so the whole house is at the disposal of the guests who book it.

Free parking is available, the villa is beachfront, and pets are allowed. Guests can cook with a kitchen and a BBQ grill, and a coffee or tea maker is included in the villa's facilities.

There is a baby bath, a high chair and children's dinnerware, and the villa also has a washer, an iron and a desk or workspace. Dishes and dining utensils, a microwave, a refrigerator and a stove are part of the kitchen set-up, and internet access is available, with a desk for working in the villa.

Security is covered by 24-hour security and a buzzer or wireless intercom, and the property has air conditioning, a balcony or terrace and a garden or backyard.

Villa Matahari is in Baan Klong Khong, a village area on Koh Lanta, a long island in Krabi province on Thailand's southern Andaman coast. The island is reached by ferry rather than by bridge, and the area around the village has village life close to the sea. The island's villages, beaches and parkland sit within a short distance of each other.

Khlong Khong Beach is the closest beach, 400 m from the villa, and Lung Phon Beach and Klong Dao Beach are further along the island's coast. Khao Mai Kaew Cave is a limestone cave 6 km away, and Lanta Old Town, 8.1 km away, is the island's historic old town area. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 13.6 km away, protects the marine waters around the island. The island has roads, so a car or scooter makes the longer trips easier, and when arriving from the mainland the last stretch is by ferry.

A good day could start with a swim in the shared pool, then a walk to Khlong Khong Beach, with the cave or the old town as an afternoon outing. The LMC Lanta Medical Clinic, 600 m away, is the nearest medical service, and the village of Haad Khlong Khong is close by.
