Valentine Village

Valentine Village offers pool villas with three, four or five bedrooms, most of them sleeping between seven and eleven guests.

Every villa here is a pool villa, and several also have a garden and a sala, the open-sided Thai pavilion. Capacity runs from seven to eleven guests, so the choice depends on the size of your group.

The property has an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, with a terrace, a restaurant and a kitchen on site. Daily housekeeping is provided, and private check-in and check-out is offered. Restaurant meals are available on site.

Getting around is simple with an airport transfer, car hire and a taxi service, and there is free parking on site for guests arriving by car, including bicycle parking.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and wired internet and WiFi are also offered in the public areas. Air conditioning is in the public areas, private bathrooms are offered, and soundproof rooms are available. A convenience store is available for everyday items, and staff speak English and Thai.

Valentine Village sits in Choeng Mon, a quieter part of Koh Samui than the island's busiest beaches. The beach is 790 m from the property, so the sea is an easy walk away, and Samui Airport is 3.6 km away, which keeps the first and last legs of a trip short. Choeng Mon has a mix of villas, local houses and small beaches, and it makes a calmer base for a holiday than the island's main resort strips.

Close by are the temples and the old fishing village of Bophut. Wat Plai Laem, known for its large Guanyin statue, is 1.2 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha on a hill above Bophut, is 1.6 km away. Fisherman's Village, the Bophut walking street, is 5 km away. For shopping, the island's large centre, Central Festival Samui, and the busy beach of Chaweng are both reachable by taxi or car hire.

A good day here starts at the temples and ends at the pool. Morning visits to Wat Plai Laem and the Big Buddha fit well before a swim, and Thongson Bay Beach, a quiet bay close to the villas, is a simple stop for the afternoon. In the evening, Fisherman's Village makes a pleasant end to the day.
