Urban Jungle Social

The rooms at Urban Jungle Social measure between 16 m² and 27 m² and sleep from one to three guests. They include king bed rooms, a room with a single bed and bunk-bed rooms, with a city or street view in some of them and air conditioning in several.

Several of the rooms are non-smoking, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Some rooms have a walk-in shower and a mini bar, while the 25 m² king bed rooms sleep two or three guests depending on the room you choose. Rooms of 16 m² have a single bed or a bunk bed and sleep one or two guests, and the 27 m² room with a bunk bed sleeps one.

Private check-in and check-out are offered, along with daily housekeeping and laundry service, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The hostel has 24-hour security on site, and its daily housekeeping covers the rooms every day.

English and Thai are spoken on site, and non-smoking rooms are available for guests who prefer a smoke-free stay.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk and a shower. Check-in runs from 14:00 to 23:00, so plan your arrival within that window, and check-out is by 11:00.

Urban Jungle Social sits in an alley behind Wat Hua Lamphong, in the Silom area of Bang Rak, one of Bangkok's main business districts. Office towers, shops and food stalls fill the streets around it, and the area stays busy through the working day. The district is well served by public transport, with the Sam Yan MRT and Sala Daeng BTS stations nearby.

Sam Yan MRT station is 200 m away on the Blue Line, and Sala Daeng BTS station on the Silom Line is 750 m away. Both are useful for travelling across the city by metro and skytrain. Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum of Thai silk and art, is 1.9 km away, and Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre on Rama I Road, is nearby. The Grand Palace is 4.5 km away, and Wat Arun sits on the Thonburi bank of the river at a similar distance.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, continue to Jim Thompson House and finish at Siam Paragon, with the metro or skytrain for the way back into Silom. Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports are both on the mainland, so the trip from either one is by road.
