Urban Hostel Bangkok

The rooms at Urban Hostel Bangkok range from bunk-bed rooms, some with a shared bathroom, to private rooms with a king, queen or super king bed. Several rooms have a city view and air conditioning, and a family room sleeps up to five guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Some private rooms have a private bathroom and soundproofing. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, and one of them also has a private entrance and a sofa bed beside its super king bed. Bunk-bed rooms are set up for one or two guests, and the rooms with a private bathroom also have a city view.

Next to the hostel are a small pagoda, a mosque and local markets, all within a few streets. The Hua Lamphong MRT station is 600 m away, linking the area to the rest of the city, and the Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Center is 800 m away. Yaowarat is Bangkok's historic Chinatown, and the heritage centre covers the history of its community. The Grand Palace is 3.6 km away, across the river, and Wat Arun is 3.5 km away on the Chao Phraya riverbank.

A typical day could begin at Wat Arun, on the river, then continue to the Grand Palace, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stands in the same complex, and end with an evening on Khaosan Road. Chatuchak Weekend Market is 8.1 km away, a longer trip best planned for a separate morning, since the market is open mainly at weekends.
