Trica Hostel

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms at Trica Hostel. The accommodation runs from a family room for up to five guests and a double room of 24 m² to a standard room, a double or twin room and beds in shared dormitories.

Solo travellers can book a bed in a shared dormitory, including one for women, while couples and small groups can choose a double or twin room or a standard room for two.

The hostel has a lift, lockers, daily housekeeping and a laundry service, and its business facilities include photocopying and fax in the business centre. A shared lounge with a TV area is open to guests.

Eating and drinking options include a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop and a shared kitchen, and an Asian breakfast is offered. English and Thai are spoken, and there is 24-hour security on the premises.

Trica Hostel sits on Soi Sukhumwit 77 in Wattana district, on the Onnut side of the Sukhumvit corridor. The neighbourhood is a mix of local markets, temples and green spaces, with a far more everyday feel than Khaosan Road, the backpacker street in old Bangkok. Tesco Lotus Sukhumvit, Hospro Pharmacy and a Family Mart convenience store are all close by.

On Nut BTS Station is about 600 m from the hostel, and Phra Khanong BTS Station is 1.4 km away. Both are on the Sukhumvit line, which runs into the centre of Bangkok and reaches Siam, where Siam Paragon is a large shopping centre. Wat Tai, a pagoda, and On Nut Fresh Market are both about 250 m away, and Habito Mall is about 350 m from the hostel. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 16.1 km away, and Don Mueang is further north.

For a longer day out, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun stand on the river side of the old city, and Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex, sits further along the Chao Phraya. Chatuchak Weekend Market is across town and works better as a separate trip, while Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum, is a visit of its own. The old city and the riverside are a full day's sightseeing from the hostel.
