The Unforgotten B&B

Rooms at The Unforgotten B&B run from a 12 m² studio to a 45 m² room with two beds, and some have a city or street view. Rooms can have air conditioning, bathrobes, a desk, toiletries and slippers, with free bottled water also available.

A 45 m² room sleeps up to four guests, the Family Suite up to five, and the Studio is for one guest.

The guesthouse has a 24-hour front desk, and it offers room service, a bar, restaurants, a coffee shop, food delivery and a shared kitchen.

Daily housekeeping, laundry service, ironing and dry cleaning are offered, and luggage storage and a concierge are also available. A business centre offers photocopying and fax, and meeting facilities are available, along with a ticket service and tours for guests who want them.

For getting around, the guesthouse offers an airport transfer, car hire, a shuttle service and a taxi service, while tours and ticket services are offered too. There is also a massage service, a garden and a shrine, and the guesthouse has an elevator and cash withdrawal facilities.

The Unforgotten B&B sits in the Chinatown area of Bangkok, in the Taladnoi district, where shophouses, shrines and temples stand close together. The streets are busy and colourful, with the street-food stalls and gold shops of Yaowarat nearby, and the Chao Phraya River is a short walk away. Walking is the easiest way to explore old Bangkok from here.

Hua Lamphong MRT Station and Hua Lamphong Railway Station are both 550 m away, so trains and the metro are a practical way to reach other parts of the city. Wat Traimit, which houses the Golden Buddha, is 200 m away, and Yaowarat Road, the main street of Chinatown, runs close by. Shophouses along the main roads sell gold, herbal medicines and snacks, and the lanes off them are where the district feels most like itself.

A good day here can start at Wat Traimit with its Golden Buddha, continue on foot along Yaowarat Road, and end at the river, where Sawatdi Pier is 350 m away. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are about 2.6 km away, and Wat Phra Chetuphon, the temple of the reclining Buddha, is in the same historic quarter as the Grand Palace. Chatuchak Weekend Market is 8 km off for a longer day out to the north of the city.
