The hostel offers dormitory rooms with bunk beds, for women and for men, alongside private dorms and a family room with a shared bathroom. Guests in the dormitories share the bathroom and the hostel's common areas, including the lounge and the kitchen. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and several rooms have air conditioning.

Guests can choose a single bunk in a shared dormitory, a private dorm for up to four guests, or the family room, which accommodates up to four guests. Sukhumvit 4 Alley runs off Sukhumvit Road in Khlong Toei, a dense and busy district of central Bangkok, where shophouses and street-food stalls line the main roads and the BTS skytrain runs above Sukhumvit Road. The streets are lively through the day and the evening. Sukhumvit Road carries a steady flow of traffic, and the hostel is set just off it.

Nana BTS Station is 500 m away and Asok BTS Station is 750 m away, so the skytrain is the simplest way to reach the shopping centres of central Bangkok. Siam Paragon is 2.3 km away, and MBK Center is a short ride further on. Jim Thompson House, the teak-built home of the American silk entrepreneur who gave it its name, is now a museum, and Benchakitti Forest Park, a green space with a museum nearby, is also close by.

For the temples and palaces of the old city, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun lie across central Bangkok, and the hostel's taxi and tour services can help plan the trip. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in Thailand, is a day trip from the city centre, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 21.9 km away for those arriving by air.
