The La Valle'e Resort

Guests can choose from rooms with a mountain view, a private bathroom or pool access. The Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Pool Access measures 41 m², and the Deluxe Bungalow measures 35 m².

Several rooms sleep up to three guests and are set up with single and double beds. Some rooms also have an electric kettle, a hair dryer and toiletries.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool with a children's pool, a fitness centre, a garden and a terrace. Guests can also use a karaoke room, a shared lounge with a TV area, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes.

Khao Lak is a coastal area on the Andaman side of Phangnga province, where forested hills run down towards the sea and villages sit between the roads and the beaches. The area was badly hit by the 2004 tsunami, and memorials and a museum now recall the event alongside the beaches and the forest.

Khuk Khak Beach is 4.9 km away, and Ton Chong Fa Waterfall is 5 km away. The Tsunami Museum is also 4.9 km away, and Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, with its forest and waterfalls, is 9.6 km away. Similan National Park is 15.2 km away, and reaching its islands takes a boat from the mainland. Bang Niang Market and Rainbow Waterfall are also in the area.

A good day could start at Khuk Khak Beach, continue with a visit to the Tsunami Museum and end with a walk at Ton Chong Fa Waterfall in the afternoon. Bang Niang Market is also nearby for a browse. The waterfalls and the forest trails of the national park make good use of a full day, while the beach and the museum fit into a half-day. Boat trips to the Similan Islands run only in the dry season, so plan the islands for the months when they are running.
