Khao Lak is a beach area in Phangnga province on Thailand's Andaman coast, where forested hills rise behind the sand and the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami left a lasting mark on the coast. Noza Inn sits on Phet Kassem Road, with Nang Thong Beach nearby and the village of Ban Bang La On close by. Khao Lak is also a base for diving and snorkelling trips.

Sunset Beach, another stretch of sand further along the coast, is 1.4 km away, and Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, with its forest and waterfalls, lies 2.2 km from the hotel. The national park's waterfalls are a good change of scene from the coast. The Tsunami Museum, which documents the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, is 2.7 km away. Bang Niang Market and the Ton Chong Fa Waterfall are other places to visit nearby.

Phuket International Airport is 59.4 km away, and since Khao Lak has no airport of its own, the last part of the journey is by road. A good day out combines Nang Thong Beach with a walk in the national park, while the Similan Islands, reached by boat from the Khao Lak coast, are a popular trip for snorkelling and diving.
