The jungle

Every room at The jungle is air-conditioned. The rooms include an apartment with a private entrance and double rooms with a mountain view, and the double rooms measure 42 m² and 86 m², with the 86 m² room sleeping up to three guests. Air conditioning is part of the rooms' equipment, and the double rooms look out over the mountains.

The apartment sleeps up to four guests and offers a choice of bed set-ups, with a TV and a desk. The double rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, bathrobes, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels, and linens are part of their equipment. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The grounds include a garden and a terrace, and there is also a balcony or terrace. Free parking is available on site, Wi-Fi is offered in the public areas, and the property is smoke-free. The garden sits among the green surroundings of Mueang Phang Nga, and the property has outdoor space for guests to use.

Air conditioning runs in the public areas as well as in the rooms, and English and Thai are spoken at the property. The rooms have a TV, and internet services are available for guests.

The jungle is in Mueang Phang Nga, the town that gives its name to Phang Nga province in southern Thailand. The land around the town is green and hilly, with limestone cliffs, rainforest and caves, and the setting is very different from the beach resorts of the coast. Phang Nga Bay, with its limestone islands, is the best-known landscape of the region, and boat trips to it are among the main reasons visitors come here.

Several sights lie within a few kilometres. Big C is 800 m away, Tham San Rock Art (1.2 km) is a rock art site, and Wat Tham Ta Pan (1.3 km) is a Buddhist temple in the same area. The Phang Nga Museum (2.6 km) is one of the town's museums, and Prasrinakrin Park offers green space in town.

A day could start at the museum and the park, then continue to the temple and the rock art site, and visit the caves of the surrounding rainforest after that. Trips into the forest often include the caves and viewpoints, and jungle trekking and birdwatching are common activities in the area. Tha Dan Pier (7.3 km) is a ferry terminal for guests who plan trips by water.
