The village of Haad Tha Kao is right beside the property, and Low Tide Island is 450 m away. The Tha Khao ferry terminal is 600 m away, and the viewpoint over Potsai beach is 1 km away. Hong Island, 8.6 km away, is a lagoon island popular for kayaking, and James Bond Island, a limestone islet in the bay, lies farther out. Phuket International Airport is 49 km away, and the island is reached by boat, so the last part of the trip is by boat as well.

A good day could start with a boat trip to Hong Island for kayaking in its lagoon, then return to the beaches of the island and a walk around the village in the late afternoon. Coconut Local Farm, an attraction on the island, makes a simple afternoon visit. In the rainy season the sea can be rough, so boat trips may be cancelled.
