The Exchange Hostel Bangkok

Every room at The Exchange Hostel Bangkok is a bunk-bed dormitory, and each dormitory is set up for one guest. The rooms have air conditioning and a street view, the bathroom is shared, and the rooms are non-smoking, with free Wi-Fi reaching all of them.

The 14-bed and 12-bed dormitories measure 28 m², and the 8-bed dormitory measures 16 m². One of the 12-bed dormitories is for women only, and the 14-bed and 8-bed dormitories are mixed. Guests share the bathroom and have access to the shared lounge and the shared kitchen. Each dormitory is furnished with bunk beds and set up for a single guest.

Pratunam is a busy shopping district in Ratchathewi, Bangkok, known for its clothing markets and the tailoring shops along its streets. The hostel sits on a side street (soi) off Ratchaprarop Road, among shops and food stalls, and the main shopping streets of Pratunam are close by, so the area offers a wide choice of shops and places to eat at every hour of the day.

The Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station is 250 m away, and Pratunam Market, a market of clothing stalls, is 350 m away. Siam Paragon, one of Bangkok's largest shopping centres with cinemas and an aquarium, is 1.2 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a museum in the former home of the silk entrepreneur, is also nearby.

For temples, the Grand Palace is 5.6 km away in the old city, and Wat Arun, the temple on the river, stands on the opposite bank from the palace. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is a longer trip across the city, and it is a weekend market. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are two of the best-known sights of the old city, where the palaces and temples stand close together, and the Airport Rail Link line also runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
