The BTS skytrain has stations at Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi, both close to the hostel. On foot, Christ Church, Rom Khiao Market, M.R. Kukrit's Heritage Home and the Chong Nonsi Canal Park are all nearby. The Jim Thompson House, the former home of the Thai silk businessman Jim Thompson and now a museum, is a taxi ride away.

A full day can start at the Grand Palace, 5.5 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) inside its walls, followed by Wat Arun on the far bank of the Chao Phraya river. Khaosan Road, the backpacker street, is a good place for the evening. For a longer outing, Chatuchak Weekend Market is 8.5 km away, a large weekend market with thousands of stalls, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 23.6 km away.
