Tepbunthom Hostel

Rooms at Tepbunthom Hostel range from shared dormitories with bunk beds, and a room with six single beds, to private rooms with a king bed or a queen and a king bed. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and every room has a hair dryer.

The suite measures 24 m², and the 25 m² room has a pool view. Most rooms measure 18 m² and have a shared bathroom, and the suite, Standard A and the 25 m² room have a private bathroom instead. The dormitory beds are bunk beds or single beds, and the private rooms have a king bed or a queen and a king bed, so each type of stay has its own set-up.

Tepbunthom Hostel is on Samsen Road in the Pranakorn district of Bangkok, in the historic core of the city. Khaosan Road, the street that draws backpackers with its bars, guesthouses and street food stalls, is a short walk away. The streets around the hostel are lined with street food stalls and small shops, and the wider old city can be reached by taxi.

Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is 1.7 km away and the Grand Palace is 1.9 km, with Wat Phra Chetuphon, the temple of the large reclining Buddha, 2.2 km away. On the western bank of the Chao Phraya river, Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 2.6 km away. Taxis cover the longer distances in the old city, while the nearer sights are easy to reach on foot.

Khaosan Road is 700 m from the hostel, so an evening can begin there and end back at the hostel's bar and nightclub. A full day can start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, which sit within the same complex, continue to Wat Phra Chetuphon, and finish at Wat Arun across the river, a half-day trip that needs no more planning than a walk and a short crossing by boat.
