Tang House

Every room at Tang House has a king bed, and the Superior Twin Room and the Loft also offer a choice of bed set-ups. The Superior King Room, the Superior Twin Room, the Flamingo and the Loft each measure 24 m², and the King Room and the flower measure 17 m².

The Superior King Room, the King Room and the Superior Twin Room have private bathrooms, and the Flamingo, the flower and the Loft come with a shower, a TV and air conditioning. The Standard Room welcomes up to three guests, and the Standard Room, 1 King Bed up to four.

Tang House has air conditioning in its public areas, a shared lounge with a TV area, a game room and a salon. Guests can use luggage storage, express and private check-in and check-out, daily housekeeping, and dry cleaning, ironing and laundry services. Languages spoken include English, French and Thai. The salon offers a quiet place to sit, and the games room is set up for games and friendly competition.

A convenience store is on site, and dining includes a coffee shop, a shared kitchen, food delivery and alternative meal arrangements. Parking on site is available, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Self check-in is the only option, so guests need an ID ready before arrival. Check-in runs from 14:00 to 22:00 and check-out is until 11:30.

Tang House sits on Ratchaprarop Road in Pratunam, one of central Bangkok's busiest shopping districts, where clothing stalls, shopping malls and street food stalls share the same few streets. The area is a practical choice for travellers who want to be in the middle of the city rather than on a quiet side street.

The Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station is 450 m away, and the line runs to Suvarnabhumi airport. Baiyoke Sky Tower is close by, and its observation deck gives a view over the city. The Siam shopping area is 1.6 km away, and Jim Thompson House, a historic Thai house with a collection of Thai silk, is 1.9 km away. The rail line also serves Phaya Thai, where it connects with the BTS Skytrain, so the city is easy to reach by train from the same station.

A day could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 4.6 km away, which is open at weekends, and continue to the Grand Palace, 5.6 km away, in the old city. Khao San Road, the backpacker street, makes a good evening stop after a day of sightseeing, and the streets around the hotel are a good place to walk after dark with the clothing stalls and food stands still open.
