T-Boutique Hostel

The rooms at T-Boutique Hostel range from single rooms with one single bed to a superior double with a queen bed. Some rooms have a private bathroom and others share one, and the rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a desk and an in-room safe box.

Bed options run from a single bed and two single beds to a double bed and a queen bed, and the rooms can also have slippers, toiletries and a shower.

Guests have a shared lounge with a TV area and a large flat-screen TV, a terrace and a shared kitchen. There is also a coffee shop and room service, and Wi-Fi is available in the public areas.

For getting around, there is an airport transfer, a shuttle service and a taxi service, and tours can be arranged. Currency exchange, lockers, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes are also available.

T-Boutique Hostel is on Sunthon Phimon Road in the Rong Muang area of Pathum Wan district, a busy part of central Bangkok around Hua Lamphong, where the old railway station and the metro line meet. The streets here mix shophouses, markets and university grounds, and Chulalongkorn University Centennial Park is 400 m away.

Chinatown is close by, with the Chao Mae Tubtim shrine and Sam Yan Market a few hundred metres away and the Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Center 750 m away. Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur, is also nearby, and the Grand Palace is 3.4 km away. The metro is a practical way to reach other parts of the city, while Don Mueang International Airport is 21.4 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport 25.4 km.

A good day could start at Wat Traimit, the temple that houses the Golden Buddha, before a walk through Chinatown's markets and the Yaowarat Chinatown Heritage Center. Hua Lamphong is also the main railway station for long-distance trains from Bangkok, so the area suits a day trip by rail as well. Back at the hostel, the shared lounge and TV area is a place to watch a film or a sports match in the evening.
