Sunset Pool Villa at Pier

The whole property is let as a single villa, so one group has the house to itself. The villa covers 600 m² and sleeps up to ten guests, with air conditioning, a private entrance, a full kitchen, a coffee and tea maker, satellite TV, a desk, a hair dryer and toiletries. The sleeping arrangements come as a choice of bed set-ups.

Children aged 2 to 12 and infants up to one year old can stay free when using existing bedding. Extra beds may be requested directly from the property, and additional charges may apply. A baby cot or crib may also be requested from the property, subject to availability.

The villa offers free parking, a hot tub and a full kitchen, with coffee or tea making facilities. Pets are allowed, which is a useful detail for travellers who bring an animal along.

Inside there are cable channels, a TV, air conditioning, linens, a hair dryer, toiletries, a closet and an iron. A washer, a desk with workspace and a doorman are also available, and internet access is available in the villa. Guests who want to cook can use the full kitchen, which sits alongside the coffee or tea making facilities.

Choengmon is a quieter part of Koh Samui, next to the Bang Rak fishing district and close to several temples. The villa sits in a residential stretch of the island rather than on one of the busier resort beaches, which suits a stay built around privacy and a pool.

Hat Bang Rak Beach is 250 m away, and the Bangrak beach fish market sits nearby on the same stretch of shore, a useful spot for an early morning walk. Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue beside a lake, is 700 m away, and the Big Buddha temple is 800 m off. Choeng Mon Beach, a sandy bay in the same district, lies 2.2 km along.

The villa is on Koh Samui, so the last part of any trip is by road, and a car or scooter makes the island's beaches and temples easy to reach. The Samui Elephant Sanctuary and the Samui Crocodile Farm are also on the island, reached by the same roads. A day can start at the fish market on Bang Rak beach, continue to the temples on the hills, and end on the sand at Choeng Mon Beach, which is the sandy bay in the wider district.
