Suneta Hostel Khaosan

Khao San Road is 250 m away, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, is 1.2 km away, with the Grand Palace another 1.4 km from the hostel. Wat Arun, the riverside temple with its tall, ornate central tower, is 2.2 km away. The Jim Thompson House is a museum of traditional Thai teak houses, and the Bangkok National Museum is a short walk away.

A good day here begins at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, then continues on foot through the Banglamphu streets to Wat Bowon Niwet Ratchaworawihan, a temple with a pagoda a short walk from the hostel. In the evening, Khao San Road is the natural place to finish. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is further away, so it suits a separate day out rather than a stroll from the hostel.
