The rooms at Summer Club2 Hostel and Cafe Aonang range from shared dormitories with bunk beds or single beds to private rooms with a double bed, three single beds or four single beds. Ao Nang Beach is 1.4 km from the hostel, and Ao Nang Beach Pier, 1.5 km away, is where the longtail boats leave for Railay. Railay is a peninsula of limestone cliffs that can be reached only by boat, and Phra Nang Cave is on the same peninsula, 3.8 km from the hostel. Mountain Buddha Temple, a Buddhist temple close to the village, is also nearby, while Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple complex near Krabi Town, lies further off.

Krabi International Airport is 17.6 km away, and getting around the village is usually by taxi or songthaew, with the beach and the pier both close to the hostel. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough, which happens more often in the rainy season. A day out can start with a longtail boat from Ao Nang Beach Pier to Railay, and the evening can be spent back in the village.
