KT8 Hotel AoNang is 390 m from the beach, and Noppharathara Beach and Ao Nang Beach are both within a short walk. Railay Beach, with its limestone cliffs, is reached by boat, and Poda and Tup islands are also trips from Ao Nang. Phra Nang Cave, on the Railay peninsula, is 4.8 km away. The Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop temple with a cave shrine, is 14.9 km away near Krabi town, and the airport is on the mainland. Boats to the islands leave from the beach at Ao Nang, which is also where the evening walks along the sand begin.

A day could start with a swim at Ao Nang Beach, continue with a boat trip to Railay or Poda, and end at the night market, which is 50 m from the hotel.
