Stayover Hostel

Stayover Hostel has mixed dormitories with four, six, eight, ten or twelve beds, and a room assigned on arrival for up to three guests. Each dormitory bed is for one guest, and the dormitories are shared with other travellers.

Two of the dormitories, one with eight beds and one with four, have an en-suite bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and tours, lockers and daily housekeeping are offered across the hostel.

Tours and ticket services are offered at Stayover Hostel, and car hire is available too. Daily housekeeping and a laundry service are provided, and there are lockers for guests.

Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms and the public areas, where internet access is also available. A convenience store is also available, and English and Thai are spoken by the staff.

Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with a long bay of sand and a seafront lined with restaurants and shops. The coast around the village is known for its limestone scenery, which rises above many of the beaches. The hostel is 1.2 km from Ao Nang Beach, and Krabi International Airport is 17.8 km away.

Close by, the Weekend Market and the Masjid Aonang Al-Munuawarah mosque are both 200 m from the hostel, and the Mountain Buddha Temple is also nearby. Further out, Railay Beach is reached by longtail boat from Ao Nang and has limestone cliffs rising from the sand. Tiger Cave Temple, also called Wat Tham Suea, lies farther from the village, and the limestone scenery of the coast is the main reason many visitors come here.

Boat trips are the main way to reach the islands from Ao Nang, including Poda and Tup, and a day out on the water suits anyone who wants the beaches and the cliffs. Rough seas can cancel boat trips in the rainy months, so keep your plans flexible. In the evening, the seafront restaurants and the Weekend Market give you plenty to do before returning to the hostel.
