Srisuksant Square

Srisuksant Square has shared dormitories with bunk beds, both mixed and female-only, each measuring 18 m² with a city view and air conditioning. The private rooms include a Private Double Room of 16 m² with a queen bed, a Private Twin Room of 16 m² with two single beds, and a Quadruple Room with Private Bathroom of 18 m² with four bunk beds.

The Private Room measures 16 m², sleeps up to three guests and offers a choice of bed set-ups, and the Quadruple Room sleeps up to five guests. The Private Double Room, the Private Twin Room and the Quadruple Room all have a private bathroom, while the dormitory beds share bathrooms with other guests.

Srisuksant Square has a 24-hour front desk, an elevator and 24-hour security, and the lounge, garden and shared kitchen are shared spaces that all guests can use. A restaurant and a bar are on site as well.

For leisure, the hostel has billiards and a game room, and tours and hiking are also offered. Practical services include luggage storage, lockers, a laundromat and laundry service, and ticket services.

Air conditioning covers the public areas, and a family room is available for guests travelling together. Wi-Fi reaches the public areas too, so the shared lounge and garden can be used with a connection. Billiards, the game room and the garden sit alongside the restaurant and bar for those who want to spend the day in the hostel.

Srisuksant Square is on Maharaj Road in Krabi Town, the provincial centre of Krabi on Thailand's Andaman coast, where shophouses, markets and street-food stalls fill the streets. It is a town rather than a beach resort, so the appeal lies in walking the streets and eating locally, with the beaches a trip away rather than on the doorstep. Banks, a pharmacy and convenience stores are all close by.

The Krabi Weekend Night Market is 100 m away, and Wat Kaew Korawaram, a temple with a pagoda, lies 350 m off. Further afield, the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), reached by a long climb of stairs up the hillside, is 6.8 km away, and Krabi International Airport is 8.1 km from the hostel. Railay Beach, with its limestone cliffs, is reachable only by boat.

A good day starts with the Tiger Cave Temple, then returns to town for the night market in the evening. Trips to Railay and the islands are made by boat, so these days begin at a pier, and Krabi Town's piers and bus connections make it a practical starting point for trips further along the coast. In the rainy months, rough seas can disrupt boat trips.
