Sribumpen Plus

The rooms at Sribumpen Plus can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a desk and a window, along with a private bathroom that includes a shower, toiletries and towels.

The Quadruple Room sleeps up to five guests, and the Deluxe Double Room sleeps up to two. The Bunk Bed Room sleeps up to three guests.

Sribumpen Plus has a shared lounge with a TV area, a doorman, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes. Daily housekeeping is provided, and 24-hour security is in place. The luggage storage and safety deposit boxes are there for guests who need them.

Staff speak English and Thai. An airport transfer and a taxi service are offered, and the business centre has xerox and fax facilities. Sribumpen Plus is on Soi Sri Bumpen in Sathorn, one of Bangkok's main business districts, where office towers stand alongside quieter residential lanes and several embassies. For anyone who wants to stay in the south of the city, close to offices, the area has street food and simple cafés in the lanes off the main roads.

The Lumphini MRT station is about 600 m away and the Khlong Toei MRT station is close by, so the metro is one way to reach other parts of the city. Chaloem Phrakiat 80 Phansa Park lies about 550 m away as a green space. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya, is 6.8 km away, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large market open at weekends, is 8.8 km away. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 22.2 km away.

A day of sightseeing could start at Wat Arun, then move across the river to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), which sit next to each other on Rattanakosin island. Wat Arun and the Grand Palace are both among the best-known sights in the old city, so the day can be planned around them. At weekends, Chatuchak Weekend Market is the place for a market morning.
