Sonata Koh Samui

The villas at Sonata Koh Samui range from two-bedroom homes to a three-bedroom villa, and guest capacity runs from three to nine people. Most villas have a bathtub, a shower and bathrobes in the private bathroom, and several are fitted with air conditioning, flat-screen TVs and blackout curtains.

Beds are queen or king size, and each villa offers a choice of bed set-ups. Several villas overlook the pool, and others have a private pool in the grounds, so the setting can be chosen according to the group. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms, and the villas also have fans in several cases.

The grounds are surrounded by lush greenery, and the garden is a place for leisurely strolls.Koh Samui is reached by air at Samui Airport, which is on the island itself, while Surat Thani Airport on the mainland is further away.

Within a short drive you can reach Wat Plai Laem, a temple about 950 m away, and the Big Buddha, a large Buddha statue and temple about 1.6 km from the property. Thongson Beach is around 1.5 km away, and Bangrak Pier, a ferry terminal, is close by. Wat Laem Suwannaram is another temple in the area, and Baan Plai Laem is a small village close by, with its own lanes and houses.

A good day can begin at the Big Buddha and continue to Thongson Beach, then finish at the Samui Crocodile Farm, a zoo with crocodiles and other animals, which is about 2.4 km away. The Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Bophut is also nearby, so the island's wildlife attractions are easy to combine in one outing.
