Slowtree Ayutthaya

Every room at Slowtree Ayutthaya is air-conditioned and has a balcony or terrace, and all of them use a shared bathroom. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and each room is set up with a king bed or two single beds for up to two guests.

Several ferry terminals and village landings are within a few hundred metres of the hotel, so the river is part of daily life here.

The temple ruins are within a few kilometres. Wat Mahathat is 1 km away, with its Buddha head set among tree roots, and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the former royal temple, is 1.5 km away. Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a riverside temple with a Khmer-style prang, is 3.2 km away, and the floating market and elephant village are nearby.

A day could begin at Wat Mahathat, continue to Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and end at Wat Chaiwatthanaram, with bicycle rental at the property as a practical way to cover the distances. Don Mueang International Airport is 48.5 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 75.7 km away, so the journey from Bangkok's airports is by road. The Ayutthaya National Art Museum and the Thai Boat Museum are close by too, both in the same riverside quarter as the hotel.
