Baan Mee Suk Ayutthaya

The rooms at Baan Mee Suk Ayutthaya are mostly dormitory beds, in shared mixed and female-only dormitories with single or bunk beds, alongside family and double rooms with a queen or a double bed. Air conditioning is fitted in most of them, and some rooms have a private bathroom while others share one. Wat Ratchaburana, with its famous prang, is 150 m away, and Wat Mahathat, one of the principal ruins of the old capital, is 250 m. The Historic City of Ayutthaya and the Chao Sam Phraya National Museum are 1 km and 1.1 km away, and Ayutthaya Train Station, with trains to Bangkok, is 1.5 km away. Both Bangkok airports, Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi, are reached by road from the town.

A good day here starts with the temples of the old city, then continues to the Ayothaya Floating Market & Elephant Village, which sits further out from the historic core. The shared lounge and TV area gives a quiet place to rest in the afternoon, before heading back out to the ruins for the evening.
