Plus Hostel Ayutthaya

The rooms at Plus Hostel Ayutthaya are dormitories with bunk beds, both mixed and female. The dormitories sleep up to nine guests, and one room has a single bed for up to four guests.

One of the dormitories has a garden view, and another has a bunk bed for one guest with a walk-in shower and a reading light. Air conditioning, blackout curtains and a fan are among the rooms' equipment, depending on the room you book.

Nearby sites include Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the former royal temple with three large chedis, and the Chantharakasem National Museum, which displays art from the Ayutthaya period. Ayutthaya Train Station is 2.3 km away, with trains running to and from Bangkok. Don Mueang International Airport is 50.5 km away, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 77.8 km away.

A day among the ruins can start at Wat Mahathat and continue through the Historic City, with a stop at the Chantharakasem National Museum for its Ayutthaya-period collection. Bicycles can be rented at the hostel for getting around the ruins, and a cycle between the temples and the museum keeps the day unhurried. Another outing is the Ayothaya Floating Market & Elephant Village, which combines a floating market with an elephant village.
