Silpasala StayZ

All rooms at Silpasala StayZ have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and a flat-screen TV. The rooms measure between 18 and 24 m² and accommodate up to two or three guests.

Beds include a double bed, a king bed, two single beds and a combination of a single and a queen bed, so the sleeping arrangement depends on the room you book. Linens are provided, and each room has a hair dryer and slippers.

Silpasala StayZ has free parking and restaurants, and English and Thai are spoken at the property. Guests can use luggage storage and lockers, and the public areas are air-conditioned.

Silpasala StayZ sits on Pattanakarn Road in the Ramkhamhaeng area, an eastern district of Bangkok that is well away from the temples and riverside of the old city. Around the property are a hospital, a mosque, a convenience store and several parks within a couple of kilometres. The streets feel residential rather than touristy, and guests who want a quieter base in the city will find that the area suits a slower pace of travel.

Hua Mak MRT station is 100 m away, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 12.9 km away. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest weekend markets, is 12.2 km away, while the Grand Palace is 16.2 km away and Wat Arun, the temple on the Chao Phraya riverbank, is 16.4 km away.

A full day could begin at Chatuchak on a weekend, then head to the old city for the Grand Palace and Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya. Those who prefer shopping can visit Terminal 21 or Siam Paragon, and Asiatique, a riverside shopping and dining complex, is a good choice for an evening. Visitors interested in Thai silk can see Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur. Back at the property, the rooms and public areas make a practical place to rest between outings.
