Silom One Hotel

The district is well connected to the rest of the city by BTS and MRT, and the streets around the hotel carry the bustle of a working business quarter by day.

Sala Daeng BTS station is 50 m away, and the Patpong Night Market is 250 m. The former home of American silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson, now a museum, is 2.4 km away, and the Grand Palace, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside its walls, is 5.2 km away. Wat Arun stands across the river from the Grand Palace, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large market in the north of the city, is a longer trip.

One day could start at the Grand Palace and Wat Arun across the river, then continue to the Jim Thompson House in Silom, a museum of traditional Thai houses. The Siam shopping area is one BTS stop from Sala Daeng, and the evening can be spent around Patpong and the Silom streets.
