Siamaze Hostel

Siamaze Hostel has dormitory rooms, both mixed and female, measuring 20 to 32 m², alongside an en suite twin room and a family room. The dormitory rooms sleep one to three guests. The twin room has two single beds and a private bathroom with a shower, along with a hair dryer and a telephone. Some rooms have air conditioning, a balcony or terrace and a city view.

Siamaze Hostel is on Soi Ratchada 17, off Ratchada Pisek Road in the Dindaeng district of Bangkok. The neighbourhood is a mix of residential streets and main roads, a little removed from the tourist centre, with the Grand Palace and the riverside temples a longer trip away.

The Chatuchak Weekend Market, 2.7 km away, is one of the biggest markets in Bangkok, with clothes, crafts, plants and street food spread across thousands of stalls at weekends. The Sutthisan MRT station is nearby, and the Huai Khwang MRT station is 1 km away, so the metro links the hostel to other parts of the city. Siam Paragon is a large shopping mall in the Siam district, and The Grand Palace, 9.4 km away, is a royal complex beside the Chao Phraya River, with the Emerald Buddha inside its walls. Somdet Ya 90 Park, 1.2 km away, is a public park with open green space in the neighbourhood.

A good day starts at Chatuchak Weekend Market on a weekend, when the market is open, and can be followed by a visit to the Siam district and to Jim Thompson House, a historic teak house complex and museum in central Bangkok. Wat Arun, a riverside temple known for its tall, tiered prang, is another stop on the river side of the city.
