Siam Journey Guesthouse

The guesthouse offers twin and triple rooms with shared bathrooms, a family room with a queen bed and a private bathroom, and mixed dormitory rooms with bunk beds. Some dormitory rooms are set up for one guest, while others sleep up to six.

Phaya Thai BTS station is 300 m away, and the Jim Thompson House, a museum of traditional Thai teak houses and a collection of silk and art, is 750 m away. Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall, is a short distance from the guesthouse, and the Skytrain is the simplest way to reach the rest of the city. Don Mueang airport is 19.3 km away, so arriving passengers can reach the area by road or rail.

A day could start at the Grand Palace, 4.4 km away, which houses the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and continue across the river to Wat Arun. For a weekend outing, the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 5.3 km away, sells clothing, food and crafts across hundreds of stalls. In the evening, Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside complex of shops and restaurants, makes a relaxed place to finish the day.
