The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, are about 1.1 km from the hostel, while Khaosan Road, the backpacker street with its bars and street-food stalls, is 2 km away. Sanam Chai MRT station is 250 m from the hostel, and the Yodpiman River Walk runs close by.

A good day could start with the temples on foot and end at the Saphan Phut Night Bazaar, a short walk from the hostel, where stalls sell food and goods in the evening. Pak Khlong Talat, the flower market, is also a short walk away, and the stalls there sell cut flowers and garlands. From the river piers, boats run along the Chao Phraya, which is one way to reach the other riverside sights.
