Scala Hostel

The rooms at Scala Hostel are set up for two, three or four guests, with queen beds, single beds, or a combination of both. Some rooms have a city view, while others have no window to the outside. The Family Room City View, for example, combines a queen bed with a single bed and has room for three guests.

Wat Mangkon MRT station is 300 m from the hostel and connects to other parts of the city by train. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are about 2.4 km away and can be reached by taxi, and the Grand Palace is home to the Emerald Buddha temple, one of the most visited sites in the city.

A walk along Yaowarat Road after dark, past the food stalls and the temple lanes, is the simplest way to start an evening in this part of the city. Khaosan Road, 2.6 km away, is the place to go for backpacker bars and street food, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 7.8 km away for those who want a larger market.
