SAWAN Residence Pool Villas

The accommodation at SAWAN Residence Pool Villas is made up of villas, several of them with a garden view and one type with a private pool of its own. Air conditioning is in the bedrooms, and the living rooms have a ceiling fan.

Some villas sleep up to twelve guests, and others sleep up to three. Guests can use the garden and the outdoor swimming pool shared by the resort.

Lamai Beach is 800 m away, and the Lamai Sunday Nightmarket, a night market, is 700 m away. Wat Lamai, the temple in the village of Baan Lamai, is also close. For a different kind of day, the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rock formations, known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are 2.9 km away, and Na Muang Waterfall is 6.5 km away. Big Buddha, at 10.6 km, is a longer excursion, and Chaweng Noi Beach is another bay on the island.

One day can start at Lamai Beach and continue to the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks, with Na Muang Waterfall as a second stop. The Sunday night market is for the evening, and Big Buddha is better as a separate outing. Trips further away need transport, as the island is large, so plan the route before you leave the resort, and allow extra time for the drive back in the evening when the roads around Lamai are busy.
