Samui Sea Breeze House (BH5)

The villa is let as a whole, with 120 m² of space, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it sleeps up to six guests. Air conditioning, a heater, linens and a private entrance come with the house, and the kitchen is equipped with a freezer, microwave, refrigerator and stove.

Bedding can be set up in a choice of ways, so the sleeping arrangements can be adapted to the group. The house also comes with hair dryers, toiletries, a TV and a coffee or tea maker.

Samui Sea Breeze House (BH5) is set in the Choengmon area, close to Thongson Bay, and it is a good choice for anyone who wants a calmer base on the island. The beach is a short walk from the house, so mornings by the sea are easy to fit in, and the quiet lanes of the village contrast with the resort strips further along the island.

Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue, is 1.4 km away, and the Big Buddha, on a hill nearby, is 1.8 km. Fisherman's Village in Bophut, with its walking street of shops and restaurants, is 5.2 km from the house, and Samui Airport is 3.8 km away. A car or scooter gives the most freedom on the island, since its main attractions are spread out.

A good day could start with a walk on Thongson Bay, then continue to Wat Plai Laem and the Big Buddha, and end with an evening at Fisherman's Village. The Bangrak fish market and Bangrak Pier, one of the island's ferry terminals, are also close by for anyone planning trips around Koh Samui.
