The back gate of Rama IX Park is 1.7 km away, and the Buddhist temple Wat Wachiratham Sathit Worawihan and a night market in Srinakarin are both a short walk from the guesthouse.

Suvarnabhumi Airport is 11.6 km away, so it is the nearer of Bangkok's two airports; Don Mueang is further out. The Grand Palace, Wat Arun and Wat Phra Chetuphon are in the old city by the river, a longer trip by taxi. Rama IX Park is green and open, a pleasant place to walk in the early hours. A good day could begin there with a morning walk, then continue into the old city for the temples.
