River Nature Hotel

The rooms at River Nature Hotel have air conditioning and a TV, and they range from 25 m² for two guests to 45 m² for up to eight. Rooms for two guests measure 25 to 28 m², and the family rooms measure 40 to 45 m² and sleep up to four, six or eight guests.

Several rooms have a bathtub, and others have a shower, a desk and a refrigerator. Blackout curtains and sofas appear in several rooms as well, and bathrobes and towels are provided in the family rooms. The Villa Room, at 28 m², sleeps up to two guests and has a seating area and free bottled water.

The streets around the hotel are a mix of neighbourhoods, markets and temples rather than a beach strip, so this is a base for seeing the town itself. The Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine and Khun Thale Park are also in the area, and Viphawadee Hospital is close by. The garden and the outdoor swimming pool give guests a place to rest between trips.

The Surat Thani Night Market is 7.6 km from the hotel, an evening market with food and shopping stalls where you can spend an hour or two browsing. The ferry terminal at Ko Jaroen, 7.4 km away, is the departure point for the night ferry to Koh Tao, so the town is a practical stop for travellers heading to the Gulf islands. For flights, Surat Thani Airport is 26.1 km from the hotel, and the hotel has an airport transfer service.

For a day out, the Monkey Training College is 2.8 km from the hotel, and the historic temple of Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Worawihan lies further afield in Chaiya, a longer trip from the town. The night market gives a lively end to a day out, with the temple and the monkey college as the main daytime stops.
