Panvaree The Greenery

The rooms at Panvaree The Greenery are superior rooms and family rooms, measuring between 16 m² and 25 m², and several of them have a lake view or a mountain view. Some rooms sleep up to eight guests, and the family arrangements include a two-bedroom room with a lake view and a room with a king bed alongside single beds.

Equipment is set room by room. Air conditioning, flat-screen TVs and showers appear in several of the rooms, while some have a window, a fan, blackout curtains or a hair dryer. The resort also has a smoking area, and several rooms are non-smoking.

Panvaree The Greenery has a sun terrace, a restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop, along with an outdoor seating area. Guests can go canoeing and boating, and the water sports facilities are non-motorised. Tours can be arranged, and there is an airport transfer as well as a paid shuttle service.

For meals, the resort offers a child-friendly buffet, an outdoor dining area, barbecue facilities, a kids meal and a takeaway breakfast service. Menus cater to special diets, and alternative meal arrangements can be made.

Daily housekeeping is provided, and a doctor or nurse is on call. The staff speak English and Thai. The resort also has a terrace and an outdoor seating area, so there is space to sit outside.

Panvaree The Greenery is in the Ban Ta Khun area of Surat Thani province, in southern Thailand, a setting of hills, reservoirs and forest rather than town streets. Khao Sok National Park, one of the best-known forest parks in the south of the country and known for its rainforest and limestone cliffs, is 4.7 km away. Cheow Lan Lake, a reservoir framed by limestone hills, is 11.7 km from the resort. On-site parking is available for guests who come by car.

Surat Thani Airport is the nearest airport, 50.2 km from the resort, so the last part of the journey is made by road. The airport serves the wider province, and the road from it runs through the Surat Thani countryside. Ratchaprapha Dam, which holds back the water of Cheow Lan Lake, is close enough to visit as a day trip from the resort.

A simple day could begin at the Khao Na Ta peak, 2.7 km away, and the Three Rocks viewpoint, both in the hills nearby. From there you can go on to Pra Kay Petch Cave, 7 km away, or to Diamond Cave. For a longer excursion, Khao Sok National Park and Cheow Lan Lake give a full day of forest and lake scenery.
